Rebrand

In the winter of 2023, I partnered with Grow Therapy on a full-scale rebrand—an effort aimed at modernizing and unifying the company’s visual presence across both digital and print platforms. My primary role was to audit and redesign all existing marketing materials to align with the refreshed brand identity. This included everything from brochures and informational handouts to custom icons and illustrations. The challenge was not only to update these materials visually but to reimagine them with a more human, optimistic tone that reflected the company’s mission to make mental health care more accessible. Working closely with their internal team, I ensured each asset retained clarity and warmth, helping communicate complex information in a way that felt clear, inviting, and brand-authentic.

The most intensive part of the project focused on their social media advertising. Over the course of two months, I created more than 200 ad designs—each tailored to highlight different aspects of the Grow Therapy platform, from provider networks and patient benefits to general mental wellness messaging. To support this, I developed a custom icon library and a versatile set of illustrations that could adapt across campaign themes while reinforcing the brand’s approachable, professional tone. In total, I converted and redesigned over 300 assets, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint. The rebrand not only elevated Grow Therapy’s visual identity but also helped the company tell a more cohesive and compelling story—positioning them as a modern leader in the digital healthcare space.

Role: Senior Designer @ Growtherapy

01 Background

The rebranding process for Grow Therapy began with a strategic audit of their existing visual assets to uncover inconsistencies and identify opportunities for stronger brand cohesion across digital and print platforms. This foundational step helped clarify not just aesthetic misalignments, but also deeper issues around brand perception, usability, and messaging clarity. From there, I partnered closely with the internal team to align on a refreshed brand direction—one that communicated trust, warmth, and accessibility, while positioning Grow Therapy as a modern, credible leader in mental health services. We defined key visual goals and brand values early, ensuring every design decision was rooted in strategic intent.

With the foundation in place, I redesigned core visual components, beginning with a versatile library of custom icons and illustrations. These elements were built for cross-platform reuse to establish a consistent and recognizable brand language that could scale. For digital ads, I developed a modular layout system that supported visual consistency while allowing flexibility for varying messages, CTAs, and seasonal initiatives. Scalability was central to the design approach—ensuring assets could adapt seamlessly across social media, email campaigns, display ads, and print collateral without diluting the brand experience.

Weekly check-ins with the Grow Therapy team were structured to maximize feedback efficiency and alignment, enabling agile iteration while staying on brief and on schedule. Throughout the rebrand, my focus remained on delivering a system that balanced polish with approachability—prioritizing emotional resonance, strategic clarity, and long-term usability. The result was a cohesive, future-proof brand identity that strengthened consumer trust, supported marketing agility, and provided the visual foundation for Grow Therapy’s continued growth.

02 Process

The Grow Therapy rebrand delivered strong, measurable results that elevated both the brand’s presence and performance. The cohesive new visual identity brought clarity and polish to their communications, making the brand feel more modern, trustworthy, and approachable. Social media ads designed under the new system outperformed previous campaigns, showing higher engagement and improved click-through rates across key platforms. The custom illustration and icon libraries added flexibility and consistency, allowing the internal team to scale new content quickly and efficiently. Beyond performance metrics, the rebrand helped reshape how audiences perceived Grow Therapy—positioning the company as a forward-thinking leader in mental health care and enhancing its ability to connect meaningfully with both providers and patients.
