During the Holiday 2021 campaign, I partnered with the Starry team to bring a sense of warmth, energy, and celebration to their Black Friday and holiday promotions. Tasked with infusing the brand with seasonal charm, I created a suite of custom illustrations that became the visual heartbeat of the campaign—playful, vibrant, and unmistakably festive. These illustrations were woven throughout every touchpoint, from digital assets to printed materials, creating a joyful and cohesive brand experience. I also designed a full range of promotional collateral, including eye-catching emails, cheerful door hangers, and brightly colored postcards, all crafted to capture the holiday spirit while driving excitement around Starry’s limited-time deals. The result was a visually engaging and emotionally resonant campaign that brought the brand to life during the busiest shopping season of the year.

01 Background

The process for the Holiday 2021 campaign began with a collaborative deep dive into Starry’s brand identity and goals for the season. We explored ways to infuse their playful tone with a festive spirit, landing on a custom illustration style that balanced charm with clarity. I sketched initial concepts and refined them into a cohesive visual system that could flex across print and digital formats. Once the illustrations were finalized, I applied them to a range of assets—designing everything from email templates and postcards to door hangers and digital banners. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the Starry team to ensure every piece felt joyful, on-brand, and strategically aligned with their promotional goals, allowing for a seamless rollout across all customer touchpoints.
